No, the site is not turning into a game AI development site, but the topic is one close to my heart, and has been on my mind for the last few weeks if not months! GDC 2003 had some great AI content, but sadly I can't seem to find much of it on the web. You may have to resort to getting your hands on the proceedings distributed via the Gamasutra store. There is a feature on AI from the proceedings that has already been published online. It's arguably this year's best lecture on the subject, by Tom Leonard Due to popular demand, I've put the final version of my slides online, as a zipped PDF. Don't ask me for the proceedings, as I doubt I'm allowed to distribute them. Feel free to email me for my thesis though. That should be it for game AI, at least for a few days. This makes a nice transition from games, to game AI, to the "regular" AI. Normal updates resume tomorrow! |
