Hello everyone i need help in making a bot that can play a game a
strategic game like war games or football game. i know neural
networks and genetic algorithms and i know Java and C, C++
programming languages but i dont have much knowledge in making bots.
plz help me out im a beginner in making bots tell me where to start
and where to go. it will be very helpfull if u guys can give any
link to some site where i can find an e-book or tutorial about this

ive heard and read much about how to attach ur code with Quake 2 etc but what i need to know is how exactly do we train a bot to think or make decisions what algorithms do we use ?

Lots of choice, a great start to a bot brain... makes it so that all you have to do is sweat a bit and you have your own custom bot with a personality.
