human brain - computer interface research

• human brain - computer interface research

Im very interested in getting into researching human and computer direct neural interfaces and would like to ask if someone knows a university (doesnt matter where) which does research in this field or perhaps someone is involved in a project which deals with it. Papers or links to sites which contain data of that kind are also welcome.

thanks
ham

See my message here titled 'Biological Neural Interfacing' for some on-line references to biological neural / machine interfacing.

• a word of prudence

I would like to ask for what purpose? Not that I deny the possibilities. Prudence and perspective on this matter has not yet been addressed. What are the pros and what are the cons? Does the good, beyond the spectacular, outweight the amount of evil this could do.

This said, try to look up the US army bio-mechanical research on amputees. Some military doctors are partners in prosthesis development.
