I'm a novice when it comes to AI, and I wanted to start this thread for other newbies, to discuss (and learn more about) AI; from our perspective.

For all you AI experts (and expert systems? ;) ), please feel free to post information or links to sites that you might consider good places to start, for those of us not up on all the AI basics.

Hi,

My first problem was I couldn't get into "Level 1: Knowledge Base" threads so I was forced to post my second problem here!

and my second problem ... It is one of AIMA(Russel)'s exercises, chapter 3, #13. It says:

"We said that at least one direction of a bidirectional search must be a breadth-first search. What would be a good choice for the other direction? Why?"

I'm really confused with this problem, I can't thought of a good answer, can anyone help me with this matter??

they are in the Russel's book, "Artificial Intelligence, a Modern Approach" and I mentioned the exact place of it in the last post ...
